Tina Tran named Outstanding Graduate for Dept. of Economics and Finance
Thu, 12/17/2015 - 2:48pmTina Tran has been selected as the Outstanding Graduate for the Department of Economics and Finance at the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration.
Graduating with a 3.9 cumulative GPA with her bachelor’s degree in Finance, Tran has been on the President’s List every semester and has received the Christian J. Gambel Memorial Endowed Scholarship and the UL Lafayette Academic Excellence Scholarship.
Tran was a member of The Institute of Management of Accountants and served on the Student Orientation Staff. She is currently an active member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Sigma Alpha Pi, and Alpha Lambda Delta. Tran is also very active in her community, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and the United Way.
After graduation, Tran wishes to pursue a master’s in business administration. After completing her MBA, Tran hopes to work for a company that will allow her to grow as a corporate finance employee and ultimately become the leader of an organization that allows her to make decisions that not only help the company, but also the community.
Tran is the daughter of Lien Lam and Suong Tran of Morgan City, La.
