Kathryn Knott named Outstanding Business Graduate Student
Fri, 12/16/2016 - 11:39amKathryn Knott has been chosen for the Outstanding Master’s Graduate Award for the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration. Throughout her undergraduate marketing degree and MBA studies, Knott has maintained a 4.0 GPA. During her time in the MBA program, she has served as a graduate assistant, coordinating the Study Abroad Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Knott is also president of the MBA Association where she has increased the membership and attendance at social, networking and community events. Throughout her time at UL Lafayette, Knott has been a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi, and Alpha Lambda Delta honor societies.
In addition to her contributions and dedication to on-campus activities and organizations, Knott is also active in the local community volunteering for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Cultures United, and Honors Orphan Outreach.
After graduation, Knott plans to travel before relocating to begin her career in marketing. Ultimately, Knott hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in marketing after working professionally for a few years.
