Marylou Major named Spring 2019 Outstanding Marketing and Hospitality Graduate

Marylou Major is the Spring 2019 Outstanding Graduate for the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration Department of Marketing. She is a marketing major with a 4.0 GPA.

Major is a member of the UL Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns Water Ski Team where she competes in slalom, jumps, and tricks. She has been on the President’s List every semester and is the recipient of the Ragin’ Cajuns Water Ski Team scholarship. 

Her community service activities include events with the UL Lafayette Honors Program and Ragin’ Cajuns Water Ski Team “Stuff the Boat” outreach program where she collected money and canned goods for veterans.

After graduation, Major plans to pursue her MBA at UL Lafayette Moody College of Business and continue skiing for the Ragin’ Cajuns water ski team.

She is the daughter of Claudine Gouin and Claude Major of Laval, Québec, Canada.
